RENT A GARDEN PLOT

Garden Plot Registration for 2024

Our raised gardens are always in high demand in the spring. There is a continuous interest in our garden as it is situated in a very convenient location.

A call out to past gardeners is made in January, followed by an expression of interest to gardeners of the community. We can only accommodate new community gardeners that are registered on our waitlist. So, express your interest early as we have a limited number of garden plots.

What are the Advantages of Renting a Garden Plot?

  • Growing space can be scarce especially if you live in shared spaces.
  • Every spring, the Garden Coordinator organizes a delivery of compost to be shared amongst gardeners.
  • Create a network of new friends with various gardening experiences.
  • Opportunity to trade seeds, seedlings and produce with other gardeners.
  • Gain access to the Gardening Shed and all its content.
  • Stop for a moment, catch your breathe, and watch your seedlings grow…

Gardening Shed:

  • Assortment of gardening tools,
  • Watering tools,
  • Gardening library,
  • First Aid / Sanitizer, and
  • Other gardening related material.

What to Know Before Becoming a Gardener:

  • You must read, fill out and sign the Gardener Agreement.
  • You must submit the $30 Plot Rental Fee before a plot is reserved.
